We know that we face many trials and temptations in this life. So did Jesus. He was put on trial before Satan in the wilderness as He began His ministry. So, I was poking around our website in preparation for something else, and discovered that I haven’t posted a blog in a long time.
…and so I thought I would.
Then I found out that it has been so long that I have no idea how to get it on my blog page, so here it is under sermons.
How are people feeling about apps – like mobile apps on your phone or tablet? 
Like ‘em? Use em?
Would you use on for the church if you could listen to sermons, see upcoming events, maybe have devotionals posted, give online versus dropping something in the plate on Sunday mornings? What else would you like a church app to have? Or are would a church app just be barking up the wrong tree?
So….
I will drop a link to this on the OSLC Facebook page so that you can add comments here or there. Is it worth our time and effort to create a church app that would help you stay connected to your church family?

As the church year draws to a close, the Scripture readings turn to end times concepts. Many people today think we are living very near the end of history and the beginning of eternity. Jesus shifts our focus away from the signs to living for Him no matter if the end is near or not.
